Two in a row….must be a holiday :)

Speaking of Holidays…During this past weekend…we decided to go out to Capitola…The day started out grey, but cleared up into a beautiful sunfilled day…Unfortunately the batteries in my camera died before the sun came out. Nonetheless…I believe I got some nice shots….Take a look…

Espania!

07 Jul

Yes I know, I am a terrible blogger. I do want to say thank you to the occasional stragglers that peek into this blog. To make up for being MIA, I am going to put up TWO posts today!

One being from Spain. Spain is gorgeous. Favorite city you ask? Definitely Barcelona! (Now you know what the poll was about ;) ) So here we go, some highlights from Espania…

Some oldies….

02 Feb

I’ve been scouring through my computer and came up on some photos I took a while back. A lot of these were taken when I first exhibited an interest in photography and capturing all those things around me. Here are some of those everyday moments…through my eyes…

What's your favorite Spanish City?

29 Jan

This post is a bit off topic of photography…but I was curious what all of you think of Spain. This poll would be appropriate to those that have been there.

Can’t wait to hear your responses!!!

Beautiful Costa Rica

25 Oct

Well, once again I’ve been MIA for a while. As my friend says I am a terrible blogger. Although I’d like to think that even though I might not blog all the time…I keep things interesting :) So here is another one for you. A couple of months ago we took a trip to Costa Rica. I saw some really cool animals and insects that I’ve never seen so up close. Costa Rica is gorgeous, I even got my version of the stereotypical vacation photo :) Here goes…During our stay in Costa Rica we took a trip down the river in the jungle and checked out some of jungle life….I’ve never seen so many iguanas (did you know that iguanas eat bananas?)

We also saw some pretty cool gigantic grasshoppers. Here are a few for your viewing pleasure…

These grasshoppers hide a little hint of color under their wings. Our guide revealed it for us. Who would have known…

Finally, here is my version of paradise:)

Camping…

23 Jun

This weekend a bunch of us went camping. We got pretty lucky with the weather (even though it did sprinkle a little during the second day) and the views were beautiful. I wanted to share some snippets from the weekend with you…

We set around a beautiful fire…

…and what’s a camping trip without a little boating?

And finally, this is what happens when you go camping to an uncivilized campground…

…with no restroom in sight:)

A Day in San Francisco with Veronica and Isaac

13 Jun

I’ve been on a mini vacation this week and decided to spend a day with my friend Veronica and her son Isaac. We went to San Francisco and enjoyed our day in Crissy Field and in the Marina. There are great views of the Exploratorium from Crissy Field.

While we had lunch and as Isaac was enjoying his turkey sandwich,

a little visitor stopped by for a visit.

A short trip to the near by Napa Valley

23 May

Last weekend my friend and I took a day trip to the near by Napa Valley. We did a little wine tasting, a little photo taking and a lot of girl bonding. I wanted to share a few of the photos from that fun day. Enjoy!

First Snow on the East Coast

10 Dec

I recently took a quick trip to the East Coast. I was lucky enough to witness the first snow of the winter season. It’s very exciting to wake up and realize everything is white outside. I almost felt like a kid again. Here is what I saw out the window:00042_tmb.jpg00043_tmb.jpg
