I was scrolling through my reader and came across a very interesting post from Yuliya at SheSuggests. She entered a photo contest for a photo of the most beautiful eyes. Beauty, of course, is in the eyes of the beholder. When I saw this contest, I really wanted to share the eyes of our very own restaurant critic extraordinaire.

Apparently summer came late this year. Here we are on the verge of October, and experiencing a heat wave. Where is an air conditioner when you need one?

Today I had the pleasure of photographing a great family. I and I discussed doing this, literally for months. Finally, after various postponements we were able to get together with I, B and cute little A for a family shoot. A is about 16 months old, and cute as a button. As promised, I, here is a sneak peak from this morning.

A few days ago I received an email from someone at Visa letting me know about a very interesting food event, which will be taking place in the city of San Francisco the weekend of August 13th to August 15th, 2010. Visa thought, and I agree, that this event would be of interest to the readers of the DimpleArts Photography blog.
The event, SF Chefs 2010, will be held in Union Square, San Francisco, and will be celebrating the local flair and regional flavors of San Francisco. This premier food, wine and spirits event will offer opportunities to interact with notable chefs, mixologists and culinary personalities. Participating chefs include Gary Danko, Tyler Florence and Thomas Keller, among others. Valentine’s Day Afternoon

This year Valentine’s Day was a pretty casual one for us. We didn’t plan ahead and made no dinner reservations. In fact we had dinner with my parents at home. Instead we made last minute plans to meet up with friends in Tiburon, during the beautiful, sunny afternoon.
So we took a drive over the Golden Gate bridge to Guaymas Restaurant in Tiburon for some chips…
…guacamole…
…margaritas…
…and some tasty flautas.
It was a nice, relaxing afternoon during an unusually sunny and warm winter day, with some really tasty snacks.
