Chocolate Challah

08 Jan

I have some exciting news!

If you might recall a few months ago I put out a call for chocolate challah recipes. Well after receiving zero responses, I continued the search on my own and finally came upon the recipe for a fabulous chocolate challah on Food.com. This chocolate challah was very well received by the family and actually stayed fresh for an entire week.

I won’t keep you in suspense any longer, so without further adieu…

Chocolate-Challah

I don’t mean to boast but it is truly as good as it looks! Even my mother and mother-in-law were impressed (believe me, that means a lot).

Oooh, that looks delicious!  I love challah bread.  A family I knew growing up would share it with me each Friday…(they would receive it from the Hebrew school their child attended).  Yummy!  It wasn’t chocolate though so I can’t imagine how much more lovely chocolate challah bread would be.Dropping by from SITS to say, “hello”.  Best wishes in 2010!Kindest regards,Brook

I don’t know what “challah” means, but that photo makes me drool. Maybe because I have a sweet tooth :D But I generally love food photos. Heaven on Earth!

This looks so good.  All I can think about is stuffing it with bananas and nutella and making french toast.  Challah french toast is my favorite Saturday morning treat.  Yummo!Cheers! (SITS)
